Special Attraction

She posted about her status
She's tired of being single
And with my marital status
I was openly ready to mingle
As long as she was available,
Besides being my preference
She had a stunning essence
I'd love a chance to impress
And treat her like a goddess
When I saw her appearance
I really longed her presence
Then by a lucky coincidence
I got a shot at meeting her.
I was praying she'd see me
I was exploding in my inside
Hoping fate's on my side
I boldly decided to say "Hi"
But just as I was going by
She simply passed me by
I then ate my humble pie
Almost let my emotion die
But at least I knew i tried.
Later I was thinking of her
And I decided to text her
As i awaited reply from her
I had all kind of imaginations
Til I got her simple explanation,
She said she'd worn earphones
That's why she passed me by
So I let the bygones be bygones
And began to give it another try
With so much zeal I had for her
I started by beating around the bush
Til I boldly expressed myself to her.
Right after the proposal, I was in fear
For she was typing but not sending
After a while she replied and said
"I just find it a bit hard to trust",
So I immediately called her
And a nice story got to begin
We talked for more than an hour
Just getting to fill ourselves in
And with right timing apparently
We were flowing like a melody.
In a short while she sent a picture
She looked so fine with the filter
And when i decided to tag along
She then sent me a special song
Adele's "Make You Feel My Love"
It honestly felt like a graceful dove
Had wonderfully chosen to fall in love.
But little did I know,
what seemed like a special connection
Would turn into a fatal attraction

Choking on Air

Feels so easy to move on these days Is it growth or I'm changing my ways Everyday's like a new play of Dรฉjร  vu With the same way of going through We do so many things just to please Having hope to put our minds at ease People trust you more than you believe At times you mess up what they give They say they are willing to enlighten But they speak more than they listen I feel like the whole system contradicts I'm lost and my esteem has conflicts I would like to speak for every one else But their hearts may be in a different place. I feel like water on ice, letters on dice Or a coin with no value set as a price I hear "I love you" but I don't feel loved I hear the praises but I don't feel raised The desire to give is lost in the pressure Even if I'm to give, I lack what to share I would like to critic but who am I anyway I'm confused but "you're unique" they say Being afraid of what I don't understand No one to explain so my head...

Prayer Full Poem

You don't need to kneel Or stamp on your heels It starts from your heart That feeds on your thoughts Your spirit news the mind On the words it receives Are you the curious kind On everything you perceive? Don't beg when you pray Stop repeating what you say But in your time of secret As you humble yourself Believe you have received And you'll surely have them It's like a deep well of faith And your bucket is the hope Which is willing to receive, First believe in the true God Then seek divine wisdom So you stop pushing on doors To which you hold the lock's key. Ignorance leads to death Knowledge preserves life, If you're not wise enough to learn how to swim The day that you'll drown Is the day you may die. Know how to swim before diving in Know how to pray before you kneel Learn how to get your results from prayer Before you blame God for not being there. Humble yourself before Him That you may be exalted Pray your faith never fails And you may not be tempted ...

In the Spotlight

You know that feeling when You do wrong to people And you're later forgiven But everytime with them It feels awkward again; Or when you dump her And then start to regret Because you want to go back But there's no way she'll accept. Those feelings of regret so heavy That you can't express freely Those mixed emotions so deadly They easily kill your personality And so painfully humiliating You walk with your head hanging. These embarrassing encounters Are experienced by everyone alive In many different scenarios: When they try to fit in new company And end up trying too hard to please When one stands up in protest And no-one stands with him Or when you meet that special person And get that weird feeling Which causes things to go wrong; But we focus so much on ourselves Forgetting others also do struggle, Every mind is dangerously fragile Every heart is easily broken And every soul can get lonely. You're in charge of who you are Many sugges...
