Prayer Full Poem

You don't need to kneel

Or stamp on your heels

It starts from your heart

That feeds on your thoughts

Your spirit news the mind

On the words it receives

Are you the curious kind

On everything you perceive?

Don't beg when you pray

Stop repeating what you say

But in your time of secret

As you humble yourself

Believe you have received

And you'll surely have them

It's like a deep well of faith

And your bucket is the hope

Which is willing to receive,

First believe in the true God

Then seek divine wisdom

So you stop pushing on doors

To which you hold the lock's key.

Ignorance leads to death

Knowledge preserves life,

If you're not wise enough

to learn how to swim

The day that you'll drown

Is the day you may die.

Know how to swim before diving in

Know how to pray before you kneel

Learn how to get your results from prayer

Before you blame God for not being there.

Humble yourself before Him

That you may be exalted

Pray your faith never fails

And you may not be tempted

Start by worshiping the Lord

So He may be attracted

Ask to know God's will

For you to be acquainted

Repent and also forgive

Forgiveness is for giving

Pray without doubting

Or like Peter you'll sink

Follow God's instruction

And your miracle will manifest

Moses raised his rod

Before he parted the sea

The blind man washed his face

Before he could see

What is God telling you to do?

Are you as He wants you to be?

Are you obedient to his word

Or you're fluent but lazy

How are you subject to His authority

When you lack accessibility?

An engine needs fuel 

And ignition for it to move,

You're fueling in plenty

But must ignite to prove.

Your spirit is full but your hands are empty

Fire wood without fire never cooks the food

A hunter without a spear will never kill a deer

The Angels are waiting, the Lord is listening

You're crying and wailing but not prophesying

You're calling anointing but you're not serving

You're full of words but they're all carnal

"We are starving and suffering"

Do you know what is written

or you're just forging statements.

"Give us your daily bread

...and deliver us from evil"

Isn't that in the scriptures,

Can't you say those few words!

Faith without action is dead faith

It's also the substance of things hoped for

Stop hiding in tears from the devil

Without fear command him to leave

"Even if you walk through the valley

Of the shadow of death, fear no evil",

Why? "Because I'll be with you"

These are not my words, they're HIS.

You see as people we are like trees

To produce our fruits we start as seed

To grow the seed we need fertile ground

And we are the soil to His word the seed

His voice is here, you can hear the sound

With ears you'll hear, He speaks indeed

Stop speaking of suffering

Start confessing a blessing

End the usual complaining

Begin a crucial empowering

Pray for those who curse you

Bless those who love you

Pray for those that use you

That they may care for you

Love God with all you are

Because He already loves you,

Love your neighbor as yourself

Be an ambassador of good gifts

Don't be selfish, be generous

A mango tree never eats it's fruits

God blesses us to serve others!

Before you think of asking for more

Ask God to open your eyes and see

What you already have in you

Think about this in depth

If the devil comes to steal

What's that we already have?

If he comes to kill and destroy

That means we're built and alive

So don't fight what's from outside

Defend and call out what's inside!

Be like a little child in God's sight

What you don't understand, inquire

Like a virgin land let Him build in you

You're a temple of His presence

Invite Him to reside in you

Be a testimony in existence

Of a heavenly experience

Take heed watch and pray

For your time is always ready

All things work for good

For those that truly love God

Eternal life is a divine gift

Just believe and yarn His spirit

May the Grace of our Lord

Be with you forever in power and glory...
